#askthedoctor Hello Doctor my son is 45 days old, everyday my son starts crying around 11.30pm till next day morning 8am. he cries non stop with full energy. please guide me.

A. your child is having colic which is causing such behaviour. Colic is quite common in children before 6 months of age. The usually start after 3 weeks of age. You can give drops gastica or colicaid to the child 0.5 ml if the child is crying for more than 15 to 20 xminutes due to colic pain. Limb cyclingx movements as well as tummy time will help. To prevent colic pain kindly do burping for 15 to 20 minutes after every feed and do not keep the child back on the bed after 1 burping because all the gas is not removed after one burping.
