#askthedoctor can I give water to my 5 months baby in summers? If yes how much water I can give?

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. please don't give, Breast milk has got lot of water ( 80 to 90% of water) which satisfies babys thirst. Baby should be breast feed exclusively till 6 months of age. You can increase the feeding frequency n feed longer everytime.

your baby get water and essential nutrients through it.
no need of extra water or any food till 6 months age.
