Your diet has got no connection with it if your child is losing weight and that is 500 g that’s a lot to lose there has to be some issue behind it so please check with your doctor and also get it checked how comfortable with your breastfeeding to make your child gain weight and if not then you can start giving formula after discussing the issue with your doctor
