#askthe expert my baby is 10 month old and she has a rahes in her legs backside and hands and its size increase day by day is it a chickenpox please tell me ?

Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of rthe body along with oral ulcerations so give plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration and maintain a good hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with anteihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally
