A. It's common for children to start walking at different ages, usually between 9 to 15 months. If your one-year-old son is trying to walk but falls down, it might be due to several factors: 1. Developmental Variation: Every child develops at their own pace. Some may take longer to gain confidence in walking. 2. Muscle Strength: He may need more time to build the necessary muscle strength and coordination for walking. 3. Balance: Walking involves balance, which can take time to develop. 4. Personality: Some children are more cautious and take longer to attempt walking independently. Recommendations Encourage Walking: Provide plenty of opportunities for him to practice walking in a safe environment. Supportive Footwear: Ensure he has well-fitting, supportive shoes when walking on hard surfaces. Consult a Pediatrician: If you're concerned about his development, consider discussing it with your pediatrician for further evaluation and guidance. Conclusion Many children start walking later than others, and as long as he is showing interest and making attempts, he is likely on the right track.
