#askexperts Hii Sir/Mam My son is 1 year old, he as suffered cough and cold from last one week, after consult doctor had gave Ambrodil S syrup and Sporidex 125 tablet for 5 days course, Now completed 4 days course and cough, cold is almost cleared But Phelgm is there still. For Phelgm clear is there in home remedies or alternative remedies?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which wou hald be helpful . Cough Syp should be given only after a proper evaltuation .
