SuchiGuardian of 4 children4 years agoA. constipation is relatively a very common problem I generally follow some of dese steps .
1-Atleast 1 meal or 1 in a day I feed fibre rich food like ragi,papaya,oats,apple,
2-as mentioned earlier by someone.sufficient water intake is required spl in the morning hour ..if possible 1 small cup of water before brushing also is good ..
3-fennel water soaked overnight /boil it cool down and can give 2-3 times .
4- oil massage also helps
....5-warm water bath .
these are some remedies which I try. Hope dese helps ......If still having issue then it's better to consult a doc ...
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. constipation is a very common problem for which diet modification needs to be done like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help you can give Daliya and oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients too.
giving excesss of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit the quantity. if any medication is required you should take it under medical guidance only.lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an oeption but yoeu should give any medicine or suppository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.
