#askdoctors my baby thalu is very lean. plz suggest foods for her healthy and still now she didn't ate little bit spicy also.

A. Dear parent, do not worry if your child is lean. As long as your child is active, playful and achieving all growth milestones, it indicates good health. You should give a homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups especially seasonal fruits and vegetables even green leafy vegetables. At least 500 ml of milk every day including milk products like curd, paneer, cheese. You can give eggs and non veg foods. Add nuts like almonds to baby’s diet. Add ghee to baby’s food. Give variety of grains, cereal, pulses and legumes.
