Q.

#askdoctors my baby don’t eat food properly he just don’t want to eat. What should I do so that he ask for food himself

A. Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite. Set up a reward system and encourage. Have family meals.
