A. Do not threaten and bribe your baby. Try to have meals as a family so that the baby learns good and healthy eating habits from parents and siblings. Babies adjust to new tastes slowly. Introduce foods into her diet repeatedly till she has no choice and gives in. Introduce textures slowly. Start with purees or opt for soups initially. Prepare mashed versions of foods so that she fails to identify or separate the foods she does not like.

A. The average weight of a 8 months old girl should be around 6.3 to 9 kg. Your daughter is doing fine. Avoid force feeding. Introduce finger foods to your baby. Allow the baby to eat food by herself. Offer a variety of healthy food choices. Experiment with colourful fruits and vegetables. Check Babyhug Fruit and Food Nibbler 2 in 1 with Mesh and Silicone Sac : It is BPA free. It is a great way to introduce new fruits and vegetables like bananas, carrots and melon. It reduces the risk of choking. The mesh can be easily removed and cleaned.
