#askdoctors Can we start giving veggies & fruits for my 6 months 20 days old child?

A. h j starting with moong dal is good as it is easy to digest. you can dry roast other dals with rice and store as home made cerelac. also introduce fruits, boiled veggies in your baby's diet. also continue breastfeeding.   banana, apple, avoid citrus fruits. potato, sweet potato, carrot, bottle gourd, red pumpkin all boiled and mashed.

A. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and yes after the six months of age we can give bay fresh fruits and vegetables alapng with semi solid food and breastfeeding.. nd give baby dal soup, khichdi, daliya and ragi in semi solid food. take care
