consistency of food should be like that of ghee
avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups. Squeeze lemon in baby's food for iron absorption.

After completion of 6 months you can start with the semi solid food which can include fruits vegetables and cereals.
Fruits such as banana apple avocado orange.
Vegetables such as potato sweet potato pumpkin green peas carrot.
even you can give rice ragi or wheat porridge.
