# ask the experts mam i am 25 years old i have one daughter 1 year 6 month old i stopped breast feeding last 3 months my breast is very painful when i am touch and also pain increse day by day what can i do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. if you have stopped breastfeeding your child and this problem is common you need to express the milk and slowly give signals to your brain that you have stop lactating otherwise this may convert into an abscess which will require medical examination for proper treatment for now you can take ibugesic Plus tablet as well as do some ice application over the breast
