#Ask the Expert. Hello Dr. My Son Is 15months old, how many doses of PCV vaccine is to be given from birth.. He is due for his 4th PCV booster vaccine. Please advise if this is mandatory?

it's for pcv 4th dose as I also have this concern for my son ...
pls help us out as we have given 3 doses already..but if the 4 dose is really required do guide us in this matter.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. All the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination.
Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine b(bhefore then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine.
