Q.

#Ask the expert Hello Doctor, my daughter is 1 year and 11 months old.. she had fever day before yesterday and I had consulted the doctor and followed his prescription. she doesn't have any temperature now so I have stopped her medication but she s not eating or drinking anything.. if I force fees her she will vomit all of it.. is this common?? what can I do?

A. ya sir.. he has asked to give the multivitamin syrup twice a day.. nt yet started to give since my daughter gets irritated with medicine and will vomit again

A. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week. you have to provide plenty of water to drink and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juicze extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite. if if the child is having nutritional deficiency the doctor will add zmultivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
