Q.
As vaccination drive will be started from 1 st may for COVID-19. Is it safe for lactating mothers. My son is one year and one month old. Although he is not completely depended for milk on me because now he is eating and drinking cow milk. But two times a day he needs my feed. Please let me know that is it safe for lactating mothers or not.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. at present the Government of India says that it should not be given to lactating mothers but there are many studies and governing bodies in pediatrics and gynaecology who advocate that it should be given to the mother so the final decision has to be taken with your doctor by the mother
