Q.

Are two doses of JE vaccine required in Maharashtra? Most of the latest vaccine charts show only 1 dose but my doctor suggested two doses at 12 and 13 months.

A. first of all Japanese encephalitis vaccine is not advisable routinely for every baby it is only in some places where the disease is endemic in monsoon season . . .

A. Ma’am Since you’re following the same paediatrician for from the child birth of yours then you should be going ahead with whatever your paediatrician has to advise you to go for if they are suggesting you to go for two dosages you can’t they would not be much of a difference so go ahead with that
