any home remedy for cold?? how to give steam for my baby??

A. avoid cold climate, cold winds. give plenty of feeds , adequate rest to the baby. indirect steam , hot water bath will also help. consult your paediatrician if baby is feeding less, excessively drowsy or if cold increases. post illness babies might be cranky , irritable. nose block congestion also result in loss of appetite, difficult sucking. try different head up feeding position. feed by spoon otherwise. Maintain hygiene. if bottle feeding, maintain sterility as its a common source of infections. .  put steamer in room or To give steam to babies, best way is to make your bathroom steamy by running the hot water tap. keep the baby away from source of steam.

A. hi as your child is 10 months old, please keep your child well hydrated. give warm water with pinch of turmeric powder and two drops of ginger juice twice in a day. for steam, run hot water tap in bathroom,keep the door closed. ,place your child in your lap and sit for 5 to 6 minutes. dress your child in weather appropriate clothes provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day
