Q.

am 24 weeks pregnant and my gynaec mentioned I have umbilical hernia currently am working and travelling to office daily and sometimes feel pain around my belly button it feels like pricking or strobing with a safety pin in a continuous way for some time is that expected and when should I worry about it this is my second baby,and no such issues whete there for my first baby. may I know if this can cause some harm to my baby as well

A. it depends on the size of the umbilical hernia discuss this the treating doctor for details. if there is no relief it is better you see your doctor for proper examination particularly physical examination if there is need for doing investigations to find out the problem and treatment ok
