All of a sudden my baby had red spot when she is rubbing her eyes suspecting of a nail scratch...She doesn't have any irritation or tear drops and she is very normal Need medical advice

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician1 Year agoA. Yes, this can happen when your child accidentally scratches. Nothing to do and it is absolutely okay. This will heal on its own in next 4 to 5 days. This does not need any treatment.

So just clean the eyes with warm water and see if that helps if you see the child is not feeling relieved even after that then in that case you can consult your doctor once a doctor would be able to give you proper assistance after physical examining the situation
