A. it's totally normal to have a long time bleeding when you get your first periods after delivery so just take adequate rest and water intake If in case the bleeding continuous for more than 15 days , you should consult with your doctor

A. Hey momma , sometimes it is positive to have long duration of bleed first time . But is the flow heavy at 10 days or you feel it is decreasing? If it’s still heavy better to show a gynecologist, also if it persists beyond 2 weeks then also take a gyneac opinion

A. I'm not a healthcare professional, but significant bleeding 15 months postpartum is not typical and should be addressed promptly. There are several potential causes for postpartum bleeding, and it's crucial to seek medical attention as soon as possible. Some possible reasons for postpartum bleeding long after delivery could include:
1. **Postpartum Hemorrhage Complications:**
- In some cases, there may be delayed complications from the initial postpartum period that are now causing bleeding.
2. **Uterine or Cervical Issues:**
- Conditions affecting the uterus or cervix, such as infections, polyps, or abnormalities, could contribute to bleeding.
3. **Hormonal Changes:**
- Hormonal fluctuations, especially if there have been changes in birth control methods or other hormonal factors, could influence bleeding.
4. **Infections:**
- Infections in the reproductive organs may cause bleeding and need medical attention.
5. **Trauma or Injury:**
- Trauma or injury to the reproductive organs could result in bleeding.
6. **Menstrual Irregularities:**
- Postpartum changes can sometimes lead to irregular menstrual cycles, but persistent or heavy bleeding may require investigation.
Given the potentially serious nature of prolonged or heavy bleeding, it's crucial to contact your healthcare provider immediately. They can conduct a thorough examination, possibly order diagnostic tests, and determine the underlying cause of the bleeding. Seeking medical attention promptly is essential for your health and well-being. If the bleeding is severe or accompanied by other concerning symptoms, consider seeking emergency medical care.
