after delivery how long I should take calcium tablet. my gynae told to take tablet till I feed. don't it regular usage cause kidney stones

Gayatri DawdaMom of a 10 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello You need to take calcium atleast till1 st 6 months The calcium supplement won't cause kidney stones. so folllow the instructions as given by the gynaecologist. Also have iron tablets too

Clarify all your concerns and follow your doctor’s advice diligently. Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all day while breastfeeding your baby. Good luck and take care.
