After c section delivery for how many days periods persists??

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Bleeding often lasts for around for four to six weeks, but could last up to 12 weeks after your baby's born . Bleeding will start off heavy and red to browny red. It will become lighter in colour and flow over time . If it does not reduce, consult with your doctor take total rest for 2 months atleast

Maximum of the periods can stay till the time of 40 to 45 days with lot of Women they have a very long bleeding after their delivery but after that if it stays then there could be a matter of concern but otherwise if it stops within this much time it’s completely normal
