after adenoid and tonsils surgery my son having cold and cough with high fever(with mouth breathing . no snoring)frequently 15days once from last year.dctr told me it is bcz of adenoid hypertrophy. they suggested to surgery of adenoid and tonsils. surgery done on April 12 2023 in care hospital hyderabad. after surgery also my son suffering from same cold and cough episodes frequently (at cold time he is noring at night.normal days he is silently sleeping).we are using budecort inhaler and metaspray daily (levolin in cough episodes)how can we resolve it.we are working so much about him.

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperatures variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allergides are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine
