after 6weeks vaccine does baby have 102 fever

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel.f vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever f

If you giving a regular vaccination of the child is bound to have fever it’s completely natural for a child to have fever after vaccination so you can give paracetamol to your child after every every six hours that is going to help and subsiding the fever within 12 to 24 hours to max 48 hours
