Q.

77 days old baby .. she is only crying or sleeping after vaccination. Is it normal ?

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol caan be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello dear parent! If your baby is accepting feeds and passing adequate urine after feeding then nothing to worry. Can be due to pain. Give a single dose of paracetamol drops to reduce the pain. Continue breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor for further advice.
