Q.
77 days old baby poops 1or 2 times in a week for the last 3 weeks. She don't have any other difficulties so far. Is it ok

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. it is okay for the baby to have constipation at this is you should not worry you should continue to give Bonnisan 3 times the dayconstipation in small babies is very commonly seen and is more with babies who are fed with formula milk. Usually constipation of few days is considered as normal in babies below 6 months of age,you can give bonnisan drops 3 times a day to your child will and give frequent feeding, usually medicines or suppositories are to be avoided in such a case .if baby is having gastric pain you can give collicaid drops.give proper tummy time and burping to avoid gastric trouble.. In case of severe constipation of above one week you can give suppository but only under medical advice.

Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
