A. Loose motions usually are caused by any infection which may be associated with symptoms like fever and vomiting apart from increased frequency of motion which may be watery. in this symptomatic treatment is given along with management of dehydration. If loose motions are associated with foul smell aur mucus it could be bacterial infection which need proper antibiotic treatment that could be decided by the consulting pediatrician . for now you can start giving probiotic like enterogermina 2 times a day. Avoid any kind of maida containing food or junk food and give only moong daal khichdi ,curd rice coconut water etc. Avoid giving excess of milk ,you can also give banana which will help. Giving ORS solution and more of water will compensate for the loss of liquids in the body. You can use diapers for a longer time of 6-8 hours but it should be of very good quality for example premium pampers, baby hug ,mothercare etc. but diaper free interval is important in such a case. it will be better to use a good cream like ezinapi cream before making the baby wear a diaper or for rashes caused by long wearing of diaper. cotton diapers can also be used, it may help in reducing the diaper rash if any. If the diaper is full or if it is soiled it should be changed immediately which will help to pr-revent any kind of diaper rashes specially in summer season.diaper related hygiene is utmost important for preventing rashes and maintaining the baby skin health.

A. An oatmeal bath can help moisturize and soothe your baby's skin. It may also help treat baby skin rashes like eczema and diaper rashes. Here's what you can do at home when your little one has diarrhea: Keep your baby hydrated. ...Ask your pediatrician about electrolyte drinks for babies like Pedialyte. ...Change your baby's diaper often. ...If your little one is eating solid foods, give them bits of foods that may help soothe diarrhea.
