Q.

4yr old baby suffering from cold and cough and on and off throat pain since 1month given treatment is paracetamol,amoxclav,Montek LC, levosalbutamol syrups for 5days now no throat pain but cough and cold +nt now treated azithral, Montek LC & levosalbutamol syrups but no response baby has running nose baby wt 15.8kg plz give ur suggestions

A. get the investigation like CBP and X ray of the baby ok c Cold and cough in small babies are because of viral infections you have to treat them symptomatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby e they will subside generally in a week's time

A. Already giving so many medicines to the child and still if it is not working out then to be on the safer side I would advise you to start nebulising your child because the nebulisation does make a lot of difference in reducing down congestion in the chest and throat of the child so that’s one of the best things that you can go ahead with currently as I have seen these things really work a lot so if you want you can more certainly try going ahead with theWrite Your Answer Here
