Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. 3 days max when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Vaccination the fever should not last for more than two days to 3 days of the fever is there for more than three days even after whatever vaccination we talk about then it would be a problem otherwise the fever normally does not last for more than two or three days
