A. Natal teeth are teeth that are present when a baby is born. The teeth are often not fully developed and may have a weak root. Natal teeth are not common. They are not the same as neonatal teeth that erupt in the child's mouth during the first month of life.If the natal teeth are loose, they should be removed shortly after birth while the newborn infant is still in the hospital.
