Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy1 Year agoA. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue for one yearx of age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensation is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel thatx the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination.

Little bit of constipation and difficulty in pooping is completely normal in this age so there is no problem with that yet if you see that the child is facing a lot of discomfort otherwise also then in that case you should definitely connect with your doctor regarding this
