Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy2 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Babies start babbling and speak small words dada,mama around 8-10 months.
Around 1.5 years they small words around 30-50 speak bit clearly ,addressing correctly,recognising things,persons,toys,fruit,vegetable names,wave hands ,saying hai ,bye...
Around 2-2.5 years they speak sentences framing two -three words,start conversation with small sentences ,asking needs,responding to commands.
If you obseve delay in speaking words around 50-80, not responding to name,not asking needs only asking with sigh language ,not socializing no eye contact then consult developmental paediatrician or child psychiatrist for assessment.
