Q.

18 months vaccine done today in government . but baby have cold and cough. vaccine will work properly in cold

A. yes simple fever , cough and cold as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay would be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not dto delay the vaccination if still in confusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

A. hello yes it is absolutely safe and not a problem you getting the vaccination done when the child is having cold and this is not a problem at all and it will react properly for the child not to worry and there are chances of baby getting fever and in such case give paracetamol
