When the baby's are not able to digest food they often vomit or may be you might have over fed your baby, please observe the pattern as to by eating what kind of food is he vomitting? and then stop giving that for a few days, never give any sour food after immediately giving milk to babies. Also keep the baby hydrated because he is vomiting which causes loss of water in the body and most important when the baby is sleeping always put a blanket on his tummy especially as the tummy need heat in order to carry out the process of digestion.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. that is very normal that small children after taking breastfeeding will regurgitate small amount of milk.
if the amount of milk is less than 10 ml no need to worry.
this curd like milk is normal and no treatment is required.
but if the quantity of milk is more than you have to rule out any gastric problem the child might be having.
you can decrease the the regurgitation by giving more burping time to the child.
meet your dr if vomiting is in large quantity and happening again and again
consult the doctor once for this problem
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy3 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Occasional spits after feeding is normal in small babies due to acid reflux. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand for better health, nutrition and hydration. Burp your baby after every feed. Speak to your doctor for further advice. Good luck and take care.
