Q.
11 months old baby is not feeding.. she had a throat infection four days back and recovered in two days, but within two days she forget the feeding and not willing to feed now.. these four days I sucked the milk through breast pump and make her feed.. suddenly secreation of milk is very low… whether the secreation will get reduced because of using breast pump.. please help me out to increase the breast milk and suggestion to breast feed my baby again

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it is very common that during the disease process the child will have loss of appetite as well as after the disease the child will have decreased appetite for food and this will last for at least one week.
you have to provide plenty of water to drixnk and you can give food rich in fluids as well as juice extracted from fruits which will help in improving the appetite.
if if the child is hxaving nutritional deficiency the doctor will add multivitamin supplements to increase the appetite.
