Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. no give steam first common cold or cough is mostly viral in origin . You can start with home remedies like giving steam inhalation which helps from cold. avoid direct AC air keep temperature at 26-28 degree.
