10 days back my babu suffered with dysentery and he admitted to hospital for injective medication for 3 days. but from 2 days he is doing potty 4-5 times a day after every meal he is pooping. I don't know is this dysentery or what feeling tensed. everyone is saying 4-5 times is Ok but I m not ok with it

A. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food intake. if the growth of the child is properd there is no need to worry about this phenomena. it is also advisable to continue curd buttermilk apple and banana which will help in proper digestion of food. d usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child
