1 year my baby is having cold cough n fever since 3-4 days yesterday nite she had fever of 102f n today ever 4-5 hourly she is having fever spike ranging from 99.6 to 100f.for cough we r giving syp maxtra

For FEVER as well as PAIN kindly give paracetamol according to the weight of child as well as according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having and paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day and also do body sponge to decrease the surface temperature.
Also when u take temperature in the armpit of the child and it is 100 or more then only consider it as fever and give Paracetamol
kindly give nasal saline drops every three hourly and since it is a salt water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and agaiin for nasal blockage and try to prevent temperature variations on the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
