What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

the product which has 5.5 pH level should be used for the babies, as a mom I can say proudly that I'm using sema bed products which have 5.5 pH level.

a healthy individual has ph in between 4.5 - 6 and for babies it's usually said to b 5.5

Little is known about the skin pH of infants during the first month after birth. The only pertinent investigation known to us is that of Taddei. His findings uniformly demonstrate that the skin pH is maintained in the neighborhood of 6.5 from birth through the 20th day.
