What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

pH neutral products are not a friend of your baby's skin. Any pH value other than 5.5 can severely damage sensitive skin. pH 5.5 leads to softer ,smoother and healthier skin, helps in skin renewal and imparts a healthy glow to the skin and propects skin from infections

i think pH level plays an very important role while choosing the products for to apply on skin and when it comes to the new borns, it extremely important to choose the right one, i think the neutral pH level is 7 and the newborn skin's is nearby 6.5 to 7 so, we should use the product of pH nearby this not much acidic or alkaline, both the condition can affect the skin of baby, so the balance pH range for baby products should be range from pH 6-7. Because our angels deserve better for their skin care.
