What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

baby skin is different from that of an adults( yet skin not matured take much more time) , and special care has to be taken to avoid skin problems like dryness, rashes, acne etc. ideal pH level of baby skin is 5.5 ( so acidic skin more equipped to fight the spread of bacteria and fungi).even a small variation from 5.5 can give rise to a lot of skin problems, especially in babies who have more sensitive skin.
