A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

If it’s ur first child then boy or girl doesn’t matter. The baby must b health. But if it’s your second child , this thought really matters. Having a boy or girl after a boy, can b accepted. Having a boy after a girl, we feel thankful to god. But if there is a girl after girl, it’s really very hard to accept. No matter how modern you are , how modern your thoughts are, your family looks incompleted.

exactly anchal.i agree with you.i have girl child and for second chance i am expecting boy if i will have girl again then i will feel bad for few days then after that i will enjoy it ..we feel bad for only few days after that we accept everything. but thier is one more thing ,we as parent want girl and boy bcoz we want our kid to get sister and brother.i think it is very common that everyone expecting boy and girl both.

Not at all. from the day i got pregnant my husband was praying for a baby girl. everyone in our family was so very surprised to hear that. And Almighty has heard his prayer and blessed us with a cute little princess our Zerah. I can say that my husband is the most happiest person in the world now for being a father of a daughter.

yes it does matter... Girl is mom and dad's child till lifetime but buy is only.untill he gets married... daughters are forever... I wish I could have a girl child
