Boy V/S Girl

GENDER INEQUALITY Gender Bias in Parenting
Boy V/S Girl
A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

I Love both.. but girls are not safe in the cruel society. I don't want my little love to go through those, which I have gone through. I found a big difference that people don't teach their boys as they teach to girls about discipline and respect.

we are two sisters . everyone around us, relatives , friends, neighbours used to asked u don't have brother ?🙄 i don't understand this mentality. our parents used to tell us, it does not make any difference for them. we r blessed with lovely parents. it was my upbringing that I never think about my baby's gender. I always hope for good health of my baby. so for me also boy or girl does not really matters.

We are 3 sisters, it doesn't make any difference for my parents. But yeah the society, relatives always ask us and my parents having no brother/boy. The things need to be change, people have to develop their thinking, that no matter what is the gender. The child is a gift from god. I want, the god must give me one girl child.

Having a boy in old times was a necessity as male was a predominant bread earner , security provider and hard labour provider while this necessity is no more now .In present times boy and girl are equal necessity

It does not matter to us whether it is a boy or a girl. Simply put - "it is our child".

my first born was a boy and I was in tears cos I always wanted a girl. nevertheless after 9 years I was blessed with an angel.... she brings joy to us.. we have never felt so happy in these 10 years of parenthood.
