Boy V/S Girl

GENDER INEQUALITY Gender Bias in Parenting
Boy V/S Girl
A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

I gave birth to baby girl ..she is now an year old... the thing made me feel so bad is when I was pregnant who ever come to See Me says that it will be a baby boy... but I really wanted a girl baby as my first child.... I am wondering that the whole world is developing but this thought never changed... all need a boy....i really wish that this will change one day.... girl baby also will be treated same as boy baby
the society thoughts are very bad they want only boys

I have both boy n girl.Yes,after birth of girl, society puts the gender inequality in the mind of a lady. But for a mother ,boy and girl are same.At the time of labor, mother wants a healthy baby no boy or girl in her mind..I m v lucky to hv first child as a girl..SOCIETY specially a lady is main cause of this pressure in the small towns..who realises u the gender thing..

from my point gender is not important. boy or girl both are same . we should enjoy with the child. we should think about the future of the child.

I gave birth to baby girl this February after five years of marriage and an aunty who is educated and respected member of the society said to my mom don’t worry better luck next time ... which made me think how can a woman think in such a manner about girl when we are the same gender and what can we expect from the men when women are stopping so low in there thoughts ??
don't care about this type of person..

we are two sisters . everyone around us, relatives , friends, neighbours used to asked u don't have brother ?🙄 i don't understand this mentality.
our parents used to tell us, it does not make any difference for them.
we r blessed with lovely parents.
it was my upbringing that I never think about my baby's gender.
I always hope for good health of my baby.
so for me also boy or girl does not really matters.

Ask those couple who are deprived of Children's ....the actual value of either Son or Daughter and I firmly believe 1 daughter is equal to 10 Son's.
Both should be treated same and equally and daughter to be more with Love.
