A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

In some families it happens till now. But in my opinion, we should treat them equally without any partiality. Both are the gifts of God.

Girl adds colour to life but they left us after marriage. nowadays boy also left family for job. not a big deal. both are our life

exactly! it's seen mostly women of older generation wanting a boy than a girl child. Which is something I do not understand. How can a female herself not want a girl child.
