A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

No children are God's precious gift to he parents but in many places parents wants boy rather than girls as a superstition is hold with their emotions that only boy can take their vansh to the next generations and girls can't as they got married to another family so she will help that family to carry over the next generation.. Second thing is that for girls emotions are the big priority nd for boys strength so this is the major issue for most parents as they want the boy rather than girl..
but we forgot one thing that to bring that boy girl is responsible so if girls will not there then how the new generation will exist
