What is expected from a 'Sanskari Bahu'?

A 'Sanskari Bahu' should wake up early, take care of the household chores & needs of family members. She should not be too ambitious in her career & always put family over her own aspirations. This is how the society defines Ideal Bahus. What can women do to break the stereotype of an ideal bahu?

moder 'sanskari bahu' is far more ahead of the age old concept. they are equally handeling work place n home!! they are not compromising bt following living their dreams n performing house hold duties with super perfection. so to break to age old concept of 'sanskari bahu' we need to make our in laws understand the value of self dependence. a bahu can go office regularly n do household woeks wid little help from their in laws. so they need supports from in laws to do their job at jome n office perfectly. with that lite help their life would b much more better.

I suppose women who are forced to accept these age old practices are basically married to men who have no backbone, who care more for other things and people than the person who they actually are supposed to care about.Women must not marry a man who treats her this was , and does not care for her wishes and dreams

It's not necessary to be a sanskari bahu coz even if u die doing for others nobody else vil even recognize it...
Just like grandparents have changed a bahu is also free to do vat she wishes .
Earlier grandparents used to take care of grandkids....feed them,massage them,giving them a bath...but these days no grandma is interested in it....so if bahu only has to take care of these things as well then excuse her coz she is already overloaded with a lots of work....stop expecting from her...
a happy family is where nobody is overburdened...

to break the stereotype of an ideal bahu women should not give a fuck about it.mantra is to be happy and peaceful with whatever you choose to do in your life.its only one given to you and you are only one to live it.

Sanskari bahu ki or sanskar ki definition hi galat.h.. logo ki.. Ye koi bata sakta h... Ek Ladki jo sab choddh ker naye ghar me ayi h.. Uske upar expectations ka pahad tut jata h sasural waloka (in joint family) jis me wo kabhi kisi ko satisfy nhi ker pati. ....... Or kabhi unki favourite ban hi paati ...... Truth...

but not same with all, there are some good in laws too who are like parents.
otherwise most are monsters, just want to suck everything from their bahu.

to break this just stay real you..no need to do anything like these.and both husband and wife can make a difference to these stereotype thinking by talking to inlaws ...another u can be urself ,care ur inlaws,just perform ur duties and let it all depends on one's thinking..even doing the all stereo act u cant make anyone happy bcoz it is depends on person..so just dont try to act as sanskari bahu to make inlws happy even it will not make them happy if they not want..as u can see ladies in old times performs all ths but still facing lot of problems..it is all aboyt generation gap that elders and we have..
