ANXIETY & DEPRESSION SUPPORT Calling all Moms to talk about Depression
#NotAshamedToTalk
Every Woman goes through 'Baby Blues' after pregnancy. However, feeling empty, sad and worthless all the time can indicate the possibility of 'Postpartum Depression'. Many international Celebrity Moms like Serena Williams have come out in the open to talk about this but Indian Moms are still quiet on this topic. Can Indian Moms come together & share their experiences about 'Postpartum Depression' ? Can they tell each other that it is normal & can be treated ? Share your Views Now

Hi.. I am mother of 6week old baby. I am depressed nowadays... The reason behind it is my in laws.

After my delivery, as I got discharged from hospital. We came home very happily. My inlaws came to our place to live with us. I was also very happy.

But the prob is that they try to keep the baby with themselves always. In early morning they took the baby.. During day time they play with him. Even if he is crying, they don't give me... Says we will manage. When ever i ask them to took baby they says, we want to play with baby..sometimes inlaws get angry with me

I feel like i am only the milk machine.. When my inlaws feel that baby hungry then they give me...

I am very upset... And me n my hubby always fight on this thing.

Plz let me know am i over reacting??
no you are correct. As mom love is different that other women can understand what it is strange to listen

My baby was born premature and I was caught unaware of this. I did not know how to take care of the baby and right from day 1 all the staff nurse and doctor kept saying I was not doing a good job at feeding. They never answered my questions nor did they give me the baby. I had to fight for ten days to finally come home. But it did not change a thing. I had a constant feeling of self doubt.. constant feeling of fear and helplessness. I always thought I was somehow responsible for my baby being premature and I was punishing him by being so helpless and amateur. Now he is 5 months old and is a little bundle of joy. I realised that the depression goes off when ur baby first smiles at you!!

yes I am feeling depressed some times. as I don't believe to sent my baby to day care n be working mom. so i resigned my job n concentrated only on my baby. but some times I became fed up with this daily routine. but when I look up to my baby i am so much happy n satisfied for him.

Yes it's a natural feeling. I have some different experience and would like to share it with the world. Ofcourse I was suffering from the same phase post delivery but difference was that I face it alone and came out of with by motivating myself. only my was there too tc of me. My partner was busy enjoying his own life. And now I am totally out of it and m happy as a single parent
