Yes its a unique experience...but mine is quite difficult also...in 5th month of pregnancy doctors said that my baby has cleft lip and palate..i dont know what is the problem actually...than i started gain knowledge about this and prepared myself.. but after delivery actual struggle begin...because of my princess problem she cant feed my milk...beacuse of sleepless nights i cant express my milk properly...thats why she based on formula milk till now..when she was 2 month old her father was hospitalized... i was alone for both of them..i was depressed for long time but than i thought about my baby only and encourage myself for everything which was happening around me...now she is 6 months old..her surgery is done..she is fine...😊
More power to you mommy...May God bless little princess. Always stay strong & happy!

This was my first pregnancy. And I was eagerly waiting for my daughter. I am a Nephrologist and was very naive. I thought that like most of the mothers in my family, I will go back to work after she is 3 months old. I had to work hard for my job and did not want to take much leave. Hence I was working daily even in the last trimester and ultimately went for my delivery from my workplace directly. As soon as I saw my daughter, my life has changed. There were many challenges and I had lots of help to get through it. The first problem was breast feeding- there were issues with latching and I had painful engorgement. After this u had severe pain at episiotomy site and could not sit properly for a month after delivery. This was followed by recurrent anal bleeding due to piles and multiple fissures. But all through this my baby was the reason u could see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, my life went crazy when my little one developed ear infection and I saw pus coming out of her ears. The pediatrician felt it maybe because of the position I was holding my child in- while breast feeding her. I kept blaming myself for days. I kept thinking about how I had missed the fact that she must have had ear pain, how I should have picked that up as a mother and taken her to the Pediatrician earlier. All this stress suppressed my milk production. I was spiralling. Then somehow with my husbands support I got better. Through all this whenever I looked at my baby, all my pain would go away. Today she is 4 and a half months old and I still have anal bleeding due to hemorrhoids and fissure. But all that pain is much less than the pain that I feel when I think about leaving her at home and re joining work in June, especially in this covid era.

Everyone does have their own unique experience while delivering their baby! Mine was a little funny though. being a techie mom I had read so much about delivery and breathing as if I just had to give demo, packing my bags after understanding the signs that I'm gonna deliver in sometime..everything was a cakewalk..and yes the baby did come after 8 hours via normal delivery, but the real challenges were as follows:
@ Sleep deprivation
@ immense pain due to periods and stitches faced in normal.delivery
@ unable to sit for long hours due to pain
@ baby not able to latch properly
@ self doubting due to milk production
@ emotional trauma all together.
my experiance same like yours
